Subject: | SCSI Card reader |
Hello Folks,
I've just managed to get hold of a SCSI II PCMCIA card reader, and
it works a treat off my Oktagons' external connector. Apart from the
hardware, all I needed was MountDOS from Aminet, which was a doddle to
set up my means of three tooltypes.
It mounts a CompactFlash card (by means of a Jesspos £7.99 adaptor) on
WB, fully system friendly, and reads at about 2.5 MB/Sec.
Changing the CF card removes the icon from WB, and then mounts the new
card, just like inserting a floppy, it's so easy.
Ahhh, no more, "what camera can I use with my Amiga?" now!
Then of course, lots of other devices use CF cards, don't they?
